International Trade Biweekly (ITB), a Chinese-language
periodical, gives manufacturers and traders a practical medium
to gather the latest business information and issues from around
the world. Over 100 Taiwan trade and economic offices overseas,
along with over 50 local journalists, are involved in collecting,
processing, and compiling current material for this biweekly
trade magazine. Made available to businesses throughout the island
and abroad, ITB comes with a trade data supplement called Trade
Opportunity, which contains a list of buyer inquiries collected
by the overseas trade offices, as well as information on worldwide
importers supplied by reputable business research organizations.
Taiwan Products is a full-color, English-language, feature publication
with each issue focusing on a leading export industry and related
product lines. Ten to Eleven issues are published every year,
covering categories such as Hardware and Building Materials,
Sporting Goods and Bicycles, Biotech, Machinery, Auto Parts and
Motorcycles (also in Spanish), Food Products and Food Processing
Machinery, Electronics and Communication, Medical Equipment and
Health Care, and Gifts and Stationery.
Among the key features of Taiwan Products
are industry overviews, line reports, company profiles, interviews,
and trade show reports, as well as information on manufacturers
and exporters. Taiwan Products has a circulation of 30,000 copies
for each issue, all distributed to buyers and importers at major
international trade shows in Taiwan and abroad. This products-for-export
magazine is an important tool to promote Taiwan products to the
world market.

To assist Taiwan enterprises in sourcing useful
information for business purposes, TAITRA set up a Chinese-language
website: http://www.taitraesource.com,
which offers numerous links to other websites featuring international
trade practices and country profiles of 100 nations. The website
has attracted over 150,000 visitors since it started in October
2005.
TAITRA organizes various trade promotion activities,
including international trade shows, trade missions, business
forums, and brand promotions. These events represent great moments
in the history of Taiwan business and trade. To keep a record
of these memorable occasions, TAITRA has created an image databank
to catalog these events in digital form. As of 2006, TAITRA has
accumulated a total of 20,000 recorded images, which will be
made available to the public at the Taipei Trade Information
Center in the Digital Information Service Area starting in 2007.
